Deployment of Ohms Box All-in-One Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Namibia

Introduction

RENEX, in partnership with Off-Grid Europe (OGE) www.offgrideurope.com, hereby invites businesses, farms, industrial facilities, mines, commercial operations, telecom sites, public institutions, and off-grid or weak-grid facilities across Namibia to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the integration of the Ohms Box All-in-One Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) into existing embedded solar PV sites (with or without diesel generators). The Ohms Box is a compact German-engineered storage system designed for seamless hybridisation with existing solar infrastructure. Detailed technical, financing options and commercial information will be shared upon request.

Purpose of the EOI

This EOI seeks to identify facilities in Namibia that currently have:

● Embedded solar PV systems (minimum 100 kVA)
● With or without diesel generators, and
● No existing battery storage (BESS) installed.

The purpose is to develop a national pipeline of suitable sites for technical assessments and potential integration of the Ohms Box solution.

● Fully modular and expandable to multi-MWh
